How do I set up an appointment?
Call the office at (631) 650-5580, and we will schedule you with a therapist or coach who is the best fit for you and what prompted your interest.
What is your appointment cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is you can cancel with your assigned coach or therapists directly for emergencies 24 hours before your scheduled sessions and not receive a charge for the session.
If you fail to show for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged the full fee for the Coach’s and Therapist’s time you asked us to reserve.
If you fail to keep your appointment three times in a row, we will ask you to reexamine your commitment to let us help you. We take our ability to change lives very serious and value every moment our coaches and therapists make themselves available.
With what age range do you work?
Do you work with women? Men? Couples?
What do you do in session with clients?
We talk, explore, examine, educate, and do what we call “deep dives.” Sometimes, deep dives allow us to make necessary connections, identify unconscious conflicts, release old emotions and pains, or identify an unhealthy pattern that needs to be changed immediately.
We encourage all clients to create a powerful notebook of breakthrough moments and empower coping skills to help change, healing, and growth happen quicker.
Do your clients receive assignments to work on between sessions?
Sometimes we assign homework, and sometimes we don’t.
Often in couples counseling and coaching, we are encouraging homework assignments. Assigning homework is dependent on who the client is, what works for them, and what they are working on at the moment.
We never give homework assignments because the worker likes to assign them; they must be meaningful, purposeful, and agreeable to the client.
What modalities do you use in your client work?
What is your professional training and experience?
What else does a client need to know to make the most out of working with you?
Bring a notebook to take notes during all your sessions. Dr. Mary Oz and her dream team are always looking to teach, guide, and challenge you to see what is tough for you to see. Bring an open heart, your best commitment to openness and self-honesty, and we will do the rest. Know that you are in amazing hands and hearts.
Can I expect significant life changes from working with Dr. Mary and her Radical Change Team?
Yes! Yes! Yes! We have been doing it for years. Just ask Miss C (female client), who was struggling with a traumatic divorce and then lost her 18-year-old daughter in a horrible car accident. She has found her way back to being whole, parenting her other children, and feeling healthy again. Or ask Miss S, who had anxiety for years and didn’t want to go on medication. After years of being a homebody, we relieved her anxiety in 6 weeks once she addressed her worthiness issues. Yes, Expect Big Changes quickly as long as you are willing to be All IN!
Many of our clients indicate that they have been in therapy for years and accomplish more with us in 7 – 10 sessions than in years of past therapy.
Can anyone become a Radical Change Coach? Do I need coaching experience?
No, you do not need coaching experience to train with us as a Radical Change Coach. However, to become part of our Radical Change Coach Dream Team, you will need to be invited onto the team at the end of your 12-month Radical Change Coaching Certification training.
You must have good self-awareness, learn a proven system, and set coaching tools that indicate that you are a good candidate for our 1-year training program. To be on our team, you must excel in the program and exhibit strong self-awareness, rapport skills, integrity, healthy boundaries, and an inner ability to trust your own heart and gut as you appreciate the differences between you and your client’s wishes.
Can I learn how to be more resourceful than the average person?
Yes, we do this all the time. We will teach you a way to understand yourself and others that will help you improve both all relationships in your life and your confidence. We will give you a set of coping skills and self-improvement skills that will help you manage all of your thoughts and emotions from a place of strength and assurance.
If you were excommunicated from this planet, would you rather go to a planet that is more safe or more fun?
Dr. Mary personally would choose a safe place before a fun place.
If excommunicated from this planet, would you rather go to a planet where you had an important role and would probably save the day, or would you rather go to a planet where you knew someone else who had also been excommunicated?
Will Dr. Mary Oz coach us on how to play poker from a place of strength?
Sorry, no. Dr. Mary Oz does not teach clients how to play poker or share her poker secrets. LOL
